The week is new, and with it comes a new tarot card for the day. I’m actually excited about this one because the new card is:
Page of Wands
Ah Wands, how I’ve missed you! If I haven’t mentioned it before, I feel at home in the Wands suit. There’s something within me that’s drawn to this particular suit naturally, so I take notice when these cards show up. That said, the reason I’m excited is because it’s a Page! My last week started with a Page of Cups, so it’ll be fun to contrast and compare their meanings. Since I’m drawn to the Wands suit, I probably know more about it than some of the other suits… like Cups… just saying. Since the Page of Cups was about new love, or new emotions, I’m assuming the Page of Wands is about fresh ideas and intellectual pursuits.
This is probably the one time where I really enjoy the Deviant Moon Tarot’s depiction of this card. There’s something really striking in contrasting the ‘Page’ as an actual plant. I’m choosing to notice that and nothing else. In the Gilded Tarot, I enjoy the idea of harvesting. The Mythic Tarot is a bit different, and actually, is one deck where I have difficulty connecting to the suit.
In this card depiction, I really want to know who that woman is! Could it be the Queen of Wands? I’m not sure, but here’s your Aeclectic Tarot definition:
“This card can relate to a time of new learning, new discoveries, new inventions. There is child-like excitement and energy to get things started.”
